Morwenstow

Just inside Cornwall, Morwenstow derives it's name from the Irish Saint Morwenna who is said to have brought Christianity to the parish. A more recent religious figure associated with the area was the Reverend Robert Hawker. A famously eccentric poet and opium smoker, he is remembered locally for his humanity as pastor to the parish and more widely by fact that he initiated the celebration of Harvest Thanksgiving.

Though relatively isolated Morwenstow has a vibrant community life. The Bush pub and restaurant, which recently changed hands, offers excellent food made from locally produced meat and vegetables. Nearby The Rectory Tea Rooms are famed for their unsurpassed cream teas.

Clients to date include The Bush Inn and Cory Farm Holiday Cottages.
